Summary:

A young kittypet (house cat) named Rusty leaves his home and wanders off into the forest destined to meet a strange, gray cat named Graypaw. Graypaw belongs to ThunderClan, an organized group of cats that resides in the woods. Rusty decided that the soft life of a kittypet is not for him and goes to live with the cats of ThunderClan. Meeting much prejudice because of not being clan-born, Rusty struggles to fit in with the strange ways of the Clan cats. Rusty, later receiving his apprentice name of Firepaw, struggles to help his Clan defend themselves against the strong rival Clan, ShadowClan. Soon before Firepaw's joining, a prophecy was received: “Fire alone can save our Clan”. This former kittypet may emerge to be the strongest warrior of them all.

I rate this book five llamas because it is suspenseful and exciting!
