Summary:

This story starts out with Silas Heap, proud father of seven sons. His seventh one was born just the day before. Silas himself is a seventh son. Seven is a magykal number and Septimus, the seventh son of a seventh son, has enormous magykal potential. However, Septimus disappears the night after he is born, stolen by the midwife who pronounces him dead. At the very moment that Septimus disappears, Silas finds a bundle in the snow. It turns out to be a baby girl. The Heaps take her in and on her 10th birthday, they find out that she is the missing princess. She was thought to be dead when her mother, the queen, died. Jenna, the princess, is taken by Marcia Overstrand, the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, when she finds out she is in grave danger. Will Jenna live, or will she be captured and have the same fate as her mother? This story is a masterful suspense of mystery, action and adventure. It also has the perfect amount of characters, enough to keep the story interesting, but not enough to be overwhelming. I give it five stars out of five stars.
